On Minute No 1197 (Premises at Bordesley), the Sub-Committee were informed that
the premises in question, were not suitable for Bank requirements.
Bank Committee: January 16th 1928
On Minute 2884 (Land
- Bordesley Green East) the following communication from the Allotments Committee was received:
1659. Resolved - That subject
to the approval of the City Council 500 square yards of land fronting to Bordesley Green East be transferred to the Bank Committee
at a price of 15/- per square yard.

1262 The General
Manager reported that during the carrying out of the construction of the Little Bromwich branch temporary accommodation had been secured
at a house in the vicinity belonging to the Allotments Committee at a rental of 5/- per week. As the proposed bank building would
be a special building under the Town Planning Scheme arrangements had been made for the required advertisement.
Bank Committee:
June 18th 1928
With reference to the proposal to transfer the wood building from Little Bromwich to land belonging to the Water
Department at the junction of the roads leading to Rednal and Rubery, the General Manager reported that the Water Committee were agreeable
to such transfer and to arrangements being made for opening a Branch of the Bank in such building. The Water Committee had authorised
the Secretary to settle terms with the Bank in the matter.
Bank Committee: December 10th 1928
On Minute No 1320, the General
Manager presented the following report with regard to the available use of land and buildings purchased for branch bank purposes:
Report of the Town Clerk: December 14th 1928
I beg to report that I have prepared, completed and affixed the Corporate Seal to
a Contract with H H Crump for the erection and completion of premises to be used as a branch bank in Bordesley Green Road, Little
Bromwich.
Finance Sub-Committee: February 18th 1929
Tenders for Bank Fittings - Little Bromwich Branch.
Tenders have
been considered for the provision of fittings for the Little Bromwich Branch, and the lowest tender received, that of Mr R Hunt, at
the sum of £249. 10. 0., has been accepted.
Finance Sub-Committee: June 17th 1929
Flat - Little Bromwich Branch.
Your
Sub-Committee recommend that the flat be let on lease for seven years from 24th June to Mr George Arthur Astley, Dentist, at
a rental of £50 per annum, the tenant being responsible for all rates, taxes and interior repairs. The lease to contain a clause giving
an option to Mr Astley on giving six months notice to be granted a lease of the premises for a further period of seven years at the
expiration of the present lease at a rental of £60 per annum.
Finance Sub-Committee: October 14th 1929
The Sub-Committee
were informed that certain sub-contractors for the work in connection with the Little Bromwich Branch Bank were unable to obtain payment
from the contractor of moneys due to them, and that the Architect had issued certificates for payment by the Bank of the amounts due,

Arrangements have been made for Mr G A Astley, tenant of the Little Bromwich flat, to exercise the option under his Agreement to renew
the Lease at a rental of £60 per annum for a period of seven years, as compared with the present rental of £50, the tenant to be responsible
for rates and internal repairs.
