A1022: General Purposes Sub-Committee: July 11th 1927

 

The Sub-Committee were informed that it was advisable to make certain re-arrangements with reference to the water supply at the Witton Branch, and the General Manager was instructed to arrange for a separate supply for the premises belonging to the Bank.

 

General Purposes Sub-Committee: December 10th 1928

 

On Minute No 1320, the General Manager presented the following report with regard to the available use of land and buildings purchased for branch bank purposes:

The Sub-Committee were informed that since the last meeting the following tender for work at Witton branch had been accepted:

Painting - Contractor: A J Dawkes - £25. 10.  0.

 

Bank Committee: September 13th 1933

 

The Committee agreed to Mr Jones, tenant of the flat at Witton, continuing his tenancy until the 25th December at his present rental.

 

Bank Committee: November 13th 1933

 

The General Manager reported that arrangements had been made for letting the flat at the Witton Branch to Miss O Jackson of 18 Hartington Road, Lozells, for a period of three years from the 25th December at a rental of £30 per annum, the tenant to be responsible for rates and the cost of internal repairs.
