On Minute No 3676, the Town Clerk presented the following report as to the completion of the tenancy agreement for the letting of the flat at the Handsworth Branch:

Flat at Handsworth Branch.
I have to report that in accordance with a above Minute I have completed a Tenancy Agreement for three years from the 25th March 1930 of the above flat, at a rent of £55 per annum, the tenant paying rates and being responsible for inside repairs.
3699 RESOLVED:- That Minute No 3676 be discharged.
Finance Sub-Committee: December 14th 1931
The Sub-Committee discussed the question of improving the appearance of the doors at the Branches. Mr Wilde had discussed the matter with various decorators and had recommended that the doors at the Handsworth, Harborne, and Erdington Branches should be treated with a special preparation of varnish at an estimated cost of 35/-, 12/- and 32/- respectively.
615 RESOLVED:- That this work be carried out by way of experiment, the General Manager to report the results to this Sub-Committee in
due course.

Tenancy of Handsworth Flat.
Your Sub-Committee recommend that, subject to the General Manager being satisfied with references, the flat at Handsworth Branch be leased for 7 years from 29th September 1933 to Mr Herbert Thomas Haller of 203, Soho Road, Handsworth, at a rental of £50 per annum, plus rates and cost of internal repairs. It is the intention of Mr Haller to conduct the business of a Ladies' Hairdresser on the premises.
